How it works

Acne Breakouts, Whiteheads and Blackheads explained.

This is a close-up of a pore, the skin on your face is full of them.
Some of them have a hairsack inside and thus a small hair growing out of it.
This is what a normal pore looks like, most of the time.
Sometimes dirt bacteria, dead skincells or excess skin oil gets trapped inside a pore due to a clogged pore opening.
This is when a infection starts, what we normally call acne or a breakout.
Applying another layer of acne creams can even make things worse by further blocking the pore, illustrated here by the white line.

A breakout is really a mechanism triggered by your own skin to empty the clogged pore of the bacteria, dirt, dead skincells or excess skin oil that caused the infection in the first place. Blackheads and whiteheads are also clogged pores but without the infection.

How to use Beauty Steam

In a pot bring water to a boil.

Place 2-3 tablespoons into a heat-safe bowl.
Pour the water water over it and let it steep for a minute.

Place your face in a comfortable distance above the steam with a towel over your head. Let the steam soften, soothe and open your skin.while you relax.

Now that the steam treament is complete your skin is finally soft and all pores are now open. Now it's prime time to exfoliate or just gently scrub your face free from any dirt, bacteria, dead skincells or excess skin oil, avoiding any future breakouts, whiteheads and blackheads.

Finish off with a good moisturizer and feel clean, clear and beautiful!
